  • Five sessions: Networking opportunity for teachers & artists

    Who:

    A new networking opportunity for teachers and artists to share ideas and experiences

    How:

    A new networking opportunity for teachers and artists to share ideas and experiences. The network offers five artist-led sessions each focused on a specific issue relevant to creative ways of teaching and learning. Sessions will be held the last Wednesday of every other month to give you the opportunity to socialise as part of the Wakefield Art Walk. This is a chance to visit art venues across the city, often with a cheeky glass of wine. We hope to cover issues such as engaging families, working without words, creative ways to display, and technology as a learning tool.
     

    Price includes the Arts Award training which would normally cost £140

  • Bradford Outdoor Creative Learning Network: Growing & Gardening

    Who:

    Bradford-based teachers, creative learning specialists, creative practitioners from all aspects of practice (not just outdoor practitioners)

    How:

    These events focus on Professional Development, using “Outdoor Creative Learning” as our specific focus. It will be led by Phil Lowde, an Outdoor Creative Practitioner,  Forest School Leader and Early Years Specialist, delivering Outdoor Learning & Play, Team Building, Problem Solving, School Grounds Design, Staff Training & Development and Forest Schools. In March we will be exploring “Growing & Gardening”, and how this can be creatively used with pupils.
