CapeUK are working with Lippy Films to deliver the Voice in the Middle Programme 2010/11
‘Voice in the Middle’ is a project which encourages pupil voice to be heard, it aims to engage pupils as active participants in their own learning processes, giving them the opportunity to shape the educational experience on offer to them.
9 schools are now on board from 9 different Local Authorities (West and South Yorkshire)
The nine schools are a great mix of Infants, Primary, Secondary and Special: this range will give great variety of perspectives and different ways of exploring how pupil voice can not only be encouraged but also how it can be heard, so that it influences policy and practice.
Each school is either already doing a lot around pupil voice or is keen to develop this aspect of school.
