The Arts Award is a national qualification which supports young people to develop as artists and arts leaders through any art form. CapeUK is the agency responsible for the strategic development and advocacy of the Arts Award in the Yorkshire, Humber and North/ North East Lincolnshire regions (in partnership with the Arts Council and Trinity Guildhall.) CapeUK’s role is to train and develop strategic partnerships with local authorities, schools, arts organisations and the youth and voluntary sector. This is delivered through networking sessions, training and moderation opportunities. This national qualification is available for young people aged 11-25 of all interests and abilities. Doing an Arts Award helps develop creative skills and cultural appreciation along with building key personal skills like; confidence, communication, teamwork and leadership.
