Helping early years professionals understand how working creatively with young children promotes the dispositions and attitudes needed for lifelong learning, and support home/setting links through the use of no cost resources in developing learning.

This hands on PDD will include two practical workshops – Sustained learning using recycled materials, with Community Artist Lou Sumray, will focus on developing the use of open ended and recycled resources to promote sustained learning; Engaging parents through songs and rhymes, with Judith Brindle, will provide participants with opportunities to develop a repertoire of songs and rhymes to use in their own context.
