On Friday 26th November, CapeUK’s Rosie Marcus will be giving a presentation to the Museums Association in London on ‘Creative Spaces’; an innovative research programme involving museums and art galleries working alongside children as co-researchers in the re-design of their learning experience.
The Creative Spaces research programme was initiated by the North West (NW) Museum Hub, a partnership between six major museums and galleries in the North West. From the outset the Hub acknowledged that research should play a key role in identifying new practice and demonstrating the effectiveness of new approaches pioneered by Hub partners.
CapeUK was contracted to undertake the programme; activity includes action research, project delivery and consultancy in formal and informal educational settings – often bringing together academics and educational practitioners.
