Rosie Marcus, Director
Rosie develops and manages CapeUK’s services in the North West from our Manchester office. Current activities include a Renaissance North West commission to engage children as co-researchers in the design of gallery learning and the development of a web resource encouraging schools to use the arts, creativity and culture to promote community cohesion. Much of CapeUK’s activity in the North West region is undertaken in partnership with the Arts Learning Consortium (ALC.) CapeUK and the ALC jointly manage the Early Arts pathfinders in the North West. As a member of the senior management team, Rosie has a number of organisation-wide roles including supporting professional learning programmes and managing Arts Explorer. Rosie joined CapeUK in 2007 following ten years as Head of Service of Artists in Schools: Bolton, Bury and Rochdale. In the earlier part of her career she worked in adult and community education. Rosie has a degree in Art History, a M.A in Information Studies, a P.G.C.E and has recently completed an M.Ed. |

Jo Garnham-Parks, Operations Director
Jo has been at CapeUK since 2006 and is a member of the senior management team. Jo is responsible for a number of areas including; strategic management, finance, full HR function, business development, governance & legal, marketing & communications, IT and office premises. Jo is an energetic and experienced leader with a background gained from private, public and charity sector. She demonstrates high level people management skills culminating in recognition with Investors in People with Gold Status. Jo is currently studying for an MBA, has an MA in Information Technology and Management (University of Sheffield), RSA Teacher Training Certificate (Stradbroke College) and Bilingual Business Administration (Spanish and French.) Jo is a member of Charity Finance Directors Group, a member of NCVO and a member of Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. |

Maddy Irwin, West Yorkshire Programme Director
For the last ten years Maddy has been developing and producing creative learning programmes – as Community Director at Interplay Theatre and through her involvement in the establishment of Creative Partnerships in Bradford and the subsequent expansion to West Yorkshire. Maddy is the Director for CapeUK’s Creative Partnerships programme in West Yorkshire, supporting the brokerage and management of partnerships between hundreds of schools (Early Years through to Secondary) and creative individuals and organizations. In addition to the arts and creative industries, her role also requires working with partners from the world of science, technology, engineering, business, outdoor learning and other creative fields. Working with public and private sector organisations, brokering cross sector partnerships and commissions. On a voluntary basis Maddy is a board member of Chol Theatre and the West Yorkshire Playhouse, a School Governor, and a Trustee for a charity supporting a Special School in Gujarat, India. |

Verity Clarke, South Yorkshire Programme Director
Verity leads the Creative Partnerships team in South Yorkshire developing creative learning programmes through sustainable partnerships between schools, cultural and creative individuals, organisations and their communities. Her key responsibilities are managing the Cape UK Sheffield Office, the Creative Partnerships programme and its Creative Agents, liaising with key stakeholders and promoting creativity and creative learning across the South Yorkshire region. Verity initially trained as a dancer and was Co-Director and performer with Whoopee Stomp Dance Theatre for 10 years. Alongside which she taught and project managed many creative education activities in schools and community settings across England. In 1998 she moved into a project management role with Corridor Arts where she devised creative opportunities in media arts for disengaged young people and adults in Barnsley’s ex-mining communities, as part of a social and economic regeneration programme. |

Aziza Mills, NW Administrator
Aziza is the Administrator for CapeUK Manchester, duties range from the day to day administration of the office to project support for a wide variety of work including consultations, research led projects with children and young people and professional learning. Aziza also undertakes the role of administrator for the Arts Learning Consortium, a network of North West Local Authorities, HEIs and Cultural Organisations that champions the arts and creativity in education. This work includes organising networking and training events, assisting with meetings and maintaining the network’s website. |

Becci Mason, Programme Manager Becci works on Creative Partnerships in South Yorkshire, quality assuring the programme and liaising with our team of Creative Agents and schools to ensure the programme runs effectively and smoothly. Becci initially trained as a community drama specialist. She has worked for the past eleven years with a range of statutory, education and voluntary sector arts and non arts based organisations across the country. She has experience developing, managing and delivering local and national creative participation projects including Gallery 37 and also developing and delivering youth theatres and theatre in education companies in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire. |

Emma Kendal, Team Assistant
Emma assists the CapeUK Leeds team; she is one of our first point of contact for all CapeUK enquiries. Primarily Emma assists the management of the West Yorkshire programmes, by providing administrative support and dealing with day to day queries. |

Daniele De Lissandri, Administrator & Project Assistant
Daniele is the Administrator for CapeUK Leeds, being one of our first point of contact for all CapeUK enquiries, assisting with meetings and supporting all CapeUK staff and board of trustees. Dan is also the Regional Development Assistant for the Arts Award Yorkshire; this role involves circulating information, organising and marketing training and events, and supporting Arts Award Advisers across the region. Daniele’s background is Music Technology, in his spare time he is a DJ and Music Producer. |

Fleur Bremner, Creative Programmer
Fleur works on Creative Partnerships in West Yorkshire, liaising with our team of Creative Agents and schools to ensure the programme runs effectively and smoothly. Fleur’s background is in music, and she has previously worked at the Harrogate International Festival, both programming and running the music events, but also running the education provision for the organisation. |

Ginny Scholey, Regional Development Manager
Ginny Scholey is responsible for the strategic leadership and advocacy of the Arts Award. Her role includes developing partnerships with local authorities, arts organisations and the youth and voluntary sector. She has many years’ experience in managing a broad range of complex arts projects and developing innovative, needs based, learning opportunities in the field of creativity and education. She has previously worked for a number of national charities devising training packages for work with disengaged young people. Ginny has a degree in English and Psychology, a National Diploma in Design and Photography and is an accredited Relational Dynamic Coach and Action Learning Set Facilitator. |

Jayne Gladden, Team Administrator (South Yorkshire)
Jayne is the first point of contact in the Sheffield Office, providing event coordination and support for South Yorkshire-based meetings, seminars and workshops. Jayne also administers the application process for Creative Partnerships South Yorkshire, provides user support for the Creative Partnerships Project Database and provides a CRB checking service for agents and practitioners working in South Yorkshire schools. Jayne also provides a range of support to the CEO. Previously Jayne has worked in a variety of roles within the legal and higher education sector. Jayne has a degree in History from Lancaster University. |

Jo Jessop, Communications Manager
Jo is responsible for both internal and external communications. Playing a key role in raising the profile of CapeUK and its activities by hosting events and conferences, producing publications, website, press releases, e-communications, design, promotional materials… Jo has worked in communications and PR for a number of years mainly in public sector roles. Previously she has worked for a number of well-known broadcasters in both radio and television. Jo has a degree in English and Media. |

Michael Johnson, Operations Manager Michael is one of the Operations Managers and is based in Sheffield. He has responsibility for the financial management of the Creative Partnerships (CP) programme, and is also responsible for most of Capes subcontractor responsibilities. He has worked in administrative roles since 1986, and management accountancy type roles since 1998. He has worked on the CP programme since April 2008 and joined CapeUK in October 2008. |

Sabhia Quaddas, Operations Manager
Sabhia is responsible for Quality Assurance of the Creative Partnerships, by implementing a series of Quality Assurance measures throughout the life cycle of the projects. This role supports the Enquiry and Change school programmes by identifying issues, opportunities and evidence of best practice. |

Sharron Scott, Finance Officer
Sharron joined CapeUK in 2003 after working in both financial and managements accounts for over 20 years in the private sector. Sharron is responsible for the day to day running of CapeUK’s finances and is AAT qualified. |

Yvette Fidler, Project Development Manager Yvette’s work supports the development and delivery of new progammes of work. Her background is in research and statistics. Before coming to CapeUK Yvette worked for 8 years on policy research projects for local and national government agencies in her role as a Senior Research Fellow at Leeds Metropolitan University. She has also worked for The Department of Health and Quaestor Research. She originally came to CapeUK on secondment in 2009 and has since worked on the Creative Partnerships Programme (in West & South Yorkshire) and Action Research projects in the NW. Yvette is based in our Leeds office but works across all our regions supporting business development & research activity.
