Place creativity at the heart of inspired teaching, learning and leadership.

CapeUK is an independent not for profit organisation committed to improving the lives of children and young people – preparing them to face the future with creativity and self-belief.

We work with schools, youth and community organisations, universities, the cultural and creative sector and other agencies which share our aims.

Over the last 12 years CapeUK has partnered over 5,000 schools across the country and thousands of school leaders and staff.  We have formed and led school networks and worked with other providers to support creativity and learning.  We have played key roles in advising government on creativity and learning and led national and regional creative partnership programmes.

CapeUK has a strong, confident and highly experienced team – based in Yorkshire and the North West, with offices in Leeds, Sheffield and Manchester. We work regionally, nationally and internationally with hand-picked associates, communities of successful and innovative schools willing to share their expertise and a network of expert university researchers feeding the most recent findings on creativity and learning into practice.

We also provide professional development events and workshop for professionals who work with children and young people.  Our CPD offer aims to help participants: grow new ideas and behaviours, drive change and sustainability, enable creative development, introduce analysis, understand creative processes, experience creativity, think systemically to bring about change, be engaging… and more.

Additionally, from April 2012 CapeUK will become an Arts Council England Bridge Organisation, working with the arts and cultural sectors in the Yorkshire and Humber region, ensuring that children and young people have access to great arts experiences.

CapeUK sees creativity as a key factor in preparing young people to face the future with imagination, innovation and life skills.
